Again by Clare is an Australian business specialising in curated second-hand, vintage and pre-loved goods. These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through this website.

Australian Consumer Law

All goods sold by Again by Clare come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). These rights apply to second-hand goods, taking into account age, condition and price.

Nothing in these Terms limits or replaces your consumer rights.

Product Descriptions & Condition

• All items are vintage or pre-owned and will show signs of age, character and prior use.

• Each piece is described as accurately as possible, including any visible marks, chips, wear or imperfections.

• Photographs form part of the product description. Colours may vary depending on the device used.

• Items must match their description as required under the ACL.

• Condition terms such as “excellent”, “good”, “fair” refer to the item’s state relative to its age and typical vintage use.

Pricing & Payment

• All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

• Payment is processed securely via Stripe

• For services (Source, Curate, Your Next Story), separate service terms may apply and will be provided at the time of engagement.

• Pricing for second-hand goods reflects rarity, age, maker, condition and sourcing costs.

Shipping, Delivery & Local Pickup

• Shipping is available Australia-wide through Australia Post.

• Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and vary by size and weight.

• Local delivery and local pickup options are available in selected areas.

• Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to postal delays.

• Once dispatched, tracking details will be provided where available.

Returns, Refunds & Consumer Guarantees

Under the ACL:

• You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major fault.

• For minor faults, we may repair the item, replace it, or offer a refund if a repair is not possible.

• Change of mind

• Due to the unique nature of vintage and second-hand items, change-of-mind returns are not offered unless otherwise stated.

• Items damaged in transit

• If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with clear photos so we can assist you promptly.

Title & Ownership

• Ownership of goods transfers to you once full payment is received.

• All items are sold free from encumbrances and are owned outright at the time of sale.

Safety & Compliance

• All items are checked for general safety and usability consistent with their age and intended decorative or collectible purpose.

• Electrical items are not sold.

• Any known risks, usage notes or missing components will be disclosed.

• Items that are banned or recalled in Australia will not be listed.
