The little bit of French text is what drew me to this piece. It is a well-loved French café service tray, marked Café des Délices, or Cafe of Delights, and it is totally delightful. Well worn through decades of use, it carries the kind of patina that only working café pieces acquire. I wonder where it was before now… Paris perhaps?
