Bespoke 'Presented By' Brass Candlesticks

$495.00

Wow. Simply wow.

I’m struggling to find the words to describe how someone clever took two brass balls stamped “Presented By..” and imagined something so stylish, sculptural and unique. They are truly one of a kind candlesticks, full of character and form.

I don’t doubt Ms. Agnes Kavanagh and Veronica O’Hanlon, the two ladies who originally presented the brass balls, would be proud. Their names now live on in a design that shows how beautifully the old can be reworked into something new and modern. You will never find another pair like them.

May I present them to you…

  • Length: 26cm
    Height 10cms

Hand-formed from vintage brass “Presented By” balls, with three brass rounded legs forming two feet and one candlestick holder.

Each ball is unique, stamped with ‘Presented by Ms. Agnes Kavanagh’ and Presented by Veronica O’Hanlon.

  • The Condition is excellent with the right patina expected of a piece with some age.

One of the candlesticks sits slightly angled but this does not effect the overall impact of the pair.

There is also some light marking on the candlestick bases from a previously applied sticker. I have carefully cleaned but did not want to scrub in fear of further damage.

  • Both sculptural and useful, this pair feel at home on a table, relaxed or formal. Have fun with them, they look great styled in so many different positions.

I’ve also had them on a bookcase, slightly angled with their candlesticks extending outwards. With candles in, it gives an unexpected and slightly funky look to a space that’s usually styled flat. They’re pieces you can certainly play with.
